Road Trip

Today, I leave on my first road trip to Denver still under the laws of Daddy Daycare. We are driving Mommy to Denver to see a specialist. My buddy Nathan is taking care of Saber, Abby, & Sushi for us while we're gone. Tune in to his blog for pix. My Mommy & Daddy are wondering how I'm going to do on a 6 hour drive but little do they know I am looking forward to reclining in my over-sized memory foam car seat with my DVD player and relaxing. They run me so hard all the time it's no wonder I'm only in the 25th percentile for weight. Tune in later for pictures and a report. We'll be leaving after breakfast so I can nap in the car and then stopping in Cheyenne, Wyoming for lunch and playtime. Then, we will finish the drive and make a full stop in Denver. I'm sure I will do just fine with the much needed R&R! To my loyal bloggers, we apologize for the delay in posts lately but things have been crazy around here as you know.

This was me 15 minutes into the car ride and it lasted for 15 minutes.
And this was me the last 6 hours of the car ride!!!!

Boy! Was Mommy wrong about me wanting some R&R. All I wanted to do was get out and run!! My parents tried DVD's, books, singing, and the only thing that worked...white noise. You all know I love my white noise. But how did I get it you ask....that's a lovely story. Mommy and Daddy had to tune into AM radio static and play static for the last hour of the ride. That was like driving through a wind tunnel to Mommy & Daddy but it put me into a blissful sleep mode! But not for long. Mommy's head now hurts worse than her stomach! Top that off with Obama closing I-25 traffic for the Dem Nat'l Conv and that made for one fun trip. But once at the hotel--I streaked naked down the halls to let off some steam.

Mommy hopes she can break me of this before college!
