Awesome Alexandria

We have finally made our decision to live off base in Alexandria, VA since we found the perfect house with only a 20 minute commute. We have been searching places for months but could only find three story townhouses & that was too much like apartment living. Houses are hard to find for rent and garages are even more difficult to find and a home with a pool is like finding a unicorn! But we did all three...found a home with a two car garage and a pool. It's slightly smaller than our current house and it's very close to Old Towne and the Potomac River. It's a marina style neighborhood on the river so we can keep our boat right there! Tyler has done great with his swimming lessons and no need to worry since we will have a 'pool fence' installed! This time next month--I will be Blogging poolside!
