Infant Swimming Resource

Tyler started ISR Monday with Miss Katie. This is a great program since we now have a home pool and the swim instructor comes to us!!! The classes are intended to teach infants & toddlers survival instruction incase they found themselves alone in the water--God forbid! We watch the lessons from the side! The pool is a bit chilly right now since it was just filled with fresh water for the summer. Day 1 was a bit rough--a stranger is grabbing him and putting in cold water. But he did better than I expected....he whined BIG TIME for the ten minutes but he held his breath and went underwater and even grabbed onto the side of the pool. Day 2 was a little better--he went under and grabbed the side at the same time. Also, the water had another day to warm up. By 9:30pm last night--we couldn't get Tyler outta the pool. He was jumping off the side and going under and swimming to the steps with his face in the water. Jeff & I just stared at each other with amazement!
